`El que vive en el recuerdo nunca muere.`
The person who is remembered never dies.
Our family is the definition of diversity. It is the thing that makes me the proudest when I think of what I am a part of. We have come from many places, backgrounds, and beliefs. What we all share is our source, which is where I got the title from. I began this work as a way to find out who my people were and in the process have actually learned much more about who I am. I pick up entertaining and enlightening bits and pieces from others in cyberspace traveling similar journeys.
This site is many things; a platform to share my information as others have done with me, a place where my cousins near and far can share a common space, and a way to honor my Parents, Grandparents, In-laws, and the generations before them who carved a little place out for us and our children. I dedicate this site to my boys, Alex and Rafael, whom I hope will someday understand the importance of staying connected to our past through the pictures, the stories, and the people.
Also, because we will never forget our littlest Angel, this is also for you Anna Rosa, wherever you are.
